I have been taking our 25′ RV trailer to them for several years…they always do very good work and have been a great help to me learning about our trailer. I always feel safer on the road knowing they have been taking good care of our rig!

What awesome service! I went in to have the electric step to our RV repaired or replaced last week. First Terry tried to lubricate the mechanisms but the step remained stuck in the out position. So he said he would take it into the shop and have it disassembled to determine what parts were needed. About 1/2 hour later he called and reported they took it apart, cleaned and lubed it and it works great. And to top it all off, when I picked it up, there was no charge. Thanks you American RV Repair for saving our trip for us.

American RV is great. They got me in right away. I was having electrical/battery problems with my camper van. John was the best! As he went through the process he filled me in on how things work and what to do to prevent problems in the future. He went the “extra step” and checked the inverter charge settings, which turned out to be in the wrong position. I now know the proper maintenance procedures and equipment to best take care of my batteries. Terry and his crew are wonderful. Good advice and good pricing. I will go back to American RV again and again!

Friendly staff. Worked quick and were reasonable. I recommend American RV to all my family and friends for repairs and maintenance.

This company, with Terry & Debbie (in charge) is the most competent & ethical service, with very fair pricing. I always received amazing work, for all 3 of my RV’s challenging problems. From a total rehab to winterizing & noticing leaks, with their very thorough inspection; we could not be more satisfied. The best service experience in this area, both in the creative service shop & office. Many thanks to both Terry, Debbie & service crew….

Love this company! Terry and his team are the best. Honest, reliable, careful. They don’t offer to do work they can’t handle, but so far they’ve handled everything. They don’t overcharge and they give good sensible advice. Friendly, capable, reliable. What more could one want?

We took our motorhome to Terry and Debbie after some issues with our refrigerator and were planning on leaving for a 6 week trip the next working day. Terry and his crew got right on it and we had a call to pick it up the next day. Upon our return from the trip there was need to redo the waste water plumbing after running over debris on the freeway. Once again the job was done in a day. That just doesn’t happen these days. To top it off we received a call from Debbie that the invoice had a mistake and in our favor after we had paid for the repairs. She stated she will send a check to us quickly. This business has earned another customer for life.

I’ve been very pleased with the repair work that Terry and his crew have done on my 5th Wheel. They are willing to work with insurance companies, OEM’s, and parts providers. They find innovative solutions to complex problems. I trust their workmanship and operation. They are very professional and I would highly recommend them. Just remember, they are very busy and returning customers come first…….just kidding.

We’ve had several interactions with Terry and Debbie at American RV Repair and they’ve been just great. We’ve received great service, their work shows a commitment to excellent craftsmanship, and they’ve always been patient and thorough when explaining their repairs. I even got an impromptu tutorial to winterize my rig as the work was done.

We don’t live in the area but, if our trailer needs work while visiting family in Portland, we take it to American RV. I wish their shop was in our home town in Alaska.

Had the part in stock that I needed. Was friendly and talked to me for a bit too. Building is in industrial park so be sure to look for the sign. Dog lovers welcome. Friendly pooches in the office. Will be back!

My husband called for a quote to have our RV winterized and was quoted a rate. We brought the RV in and had it serviced, paid the bill and had no complaints. Everything was done professionally and quality service. A few weeks later we received a letter in the mail apologizing for overcharging us for the service that was done along with a refund check for the difference in price. We didn’t even notice that we’d been charged more than the quote. In this day and age, for a business to not only notice they’d made a mistake but to voluntarily send the refund along with explanation tells me that this is a company I want to keep doing business with. Honesty is something special these days and I appreciate someone with similar values as my family. You have earned my repeat business and I will continue to tell people about my experience! Thank you!

We have taken our travel trailer to American RV two times, once for dry rot and another for accident damage. Both times they repaired it beautifully, very reasonably, and quickly (although we weren’t in a hurry). Can’t say enough about them, extremely courteous and honest. Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else, and you shouldn’t either.

Excellent service – I recommend this company for good quality workmanship meeting their estimated cost and schedule. There representative under promised and over performed. If you call and leave a message someone calls back within a short time.

After talking to several RV repair facilities in the greater Vancouver area, I decided to use American RV Repair and have them replace the roof on my 1993 28′ Rockwood Class C motor home. The reason for the decision was that Terry Thoreson (owner) spent quite a bit of time with me, getting on a ladder, explaining what needed to be done, how and why it needed a new roof – very straightforward. None of the other companies did this and I felt as though I was taking up their time. Both Terry and his wife Deb gave me their time and helped me to feel very important to them as a customer. There are pictures of my RV on their website, and they are graphic examples illustrating the final result. Money well spent. By the way, if your motor home is dull and will not take a shine, Terry can work with you on making it look as though it just came off the showroom floor. This has been one of the best business decisions I have made. Small company, big customer service attitude, backed up with quality workmanship.

We just had our travel trailer fixed at American RV Repair. The dealer who sold us the trailer quoted us a low of $3k and upwards, depending on what they found, and advised us to sell it and buy a new one. American RV did a fabulous job of fixing the problem for $1500, plus they fixed a few minor things free of charge. They are a family owned & run company that keeps their overhead low and their customers happy. We will ALWAYS get our repairs done there, even though we live an hour away in Oregon and have several trailer sales/repairs close to home.

I showed up with a mangled stair and some side damage. I told them I really wanted to go on another trip in a few days. They had problems getting replacement parts quickly, so they created their own and spent time flattening out the existing parts very nice… and fast! and ended up charging half as much as they quoted. So long as the owner knows exactly what you want, I would trust him to fix any problem for a good price.
